Beautiful facility, friendly staff, and promptly seen at walk-in clinic.
This is "not" an urgent care clinic. This is a walk-in clinic and for some weird reason they don't accept walk-ins until 12 noon so we had no choice but to go to the urgent care around the corner on Gratiot. Looked like a nice facility and the reception people were friendly. Just wish it was an urgent care with better hours.
The site is beautiful but looks are deceiving. The first time we went there, we checked in and there was nobody waiting in the lobby. The screen said 5 min wait. We walked out an hour later without ever being seen. If there were people in the rooms in the back, you would think that the wait times would reflect that but clearly they didn't. Lunching perhaps while patients waited? Unfortunately we needed an urgent care again and since this is the most convenient we decided to give in another try tonight. MAJOR FAIL AGAIN. Signed in online around 5:20 and was told our appt time was at 6:07. Got a text message shortly after telling us to leave for the appt and to be 10 min early. Here we are at 7:30, still haven't been seen, was told there was only 1 person ahead of us even though the screen shows 3 people and no answers. After talking to staff I was informed that they were running behind. I asked them if I should have faith in their system that makes appts because I also got a text message that said if there were any delays they would send a text. Needless to say, I never received a text. The lack of respect for patients time is disgusting. This is not the office staff's fault but someone is to blame and I'm not sure who. I worked for doctors that were inconsiderate of patients time and were in no hurry to see their patients. I don't know if that is the case here or if Henry Ford has a major flaw in their computer system that determines appt times and wait times and they are simply not addressing them because of costs or they simply don't care. After posting my experience on Facebook 3 of my 5 friends who have used the clinic experienced the same thing and the reviews here are similar. I hope they show more respect for the patients that financial support them. Moral of the story: DO NOT TRUST THE TIMES THEY GIVE YOU!!
Let me start off by saying the staff is wonderful. And the new location is beautiful. Appointments are absolutely the way to go. Walk ins are abysmal to say the least. They have a waiting list that is displayed in the main lobby, and we were 3rd on the list with an estimated 10-25 minute "call-back" time to at least be taken back to a room. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to be taken back. And we were 3rd in line. Walk ins are typically speaking, for very generic reasons. Small colds, etc. Once we were seen however, we were only in the room for maybe 15 minutes. Assistant immediately got vitals and the nurse practitioner was in within 10 minutes of her departure. Once we were in a room the process was super quick. But their system that generates a wait time estimate, is severely flawed and off. Had it said appropriate wait time, I wouldn't even be as upset as the wait time itself. It's the principle and competitiveness that a lot of walk inside are striving for nowadays. I.e. 30 minute guarantees, etc
Awesome!!! Facility is new and clean! Nice staff! Dr. Phillip best doctor I’ve seen in a long time! He listens and takes his time and super nice! Love this place fastest visit ever!!!
